The Top 3 Essays on Technology Innovation Win a Scholarship Award


Technology plays a major role in all of our lives. As a technology and software company, RenegadeWorks wants to invest in America’s future innovators and technology leaders that will help to drive us all forward.

We have created the RenegadeWorks Annual Innovation Scholarship to do this. We will award 3 scholarships totaling $1750 to the top contest entrants to use towards educational expenses.

The scholarship is open to students currently attending or accepted to a 2 or 4 year university within the US that are 18 years of age or older. Both undergraduate and graduate students are invited to participate.

To compete in the scholarship contest, submit an original essay of 500-600 words on the topic below.

What single sector, industry or area of society do you see producing the most technological innovations over the next 10 years and why? What specific innovations do you believe will be a part of that growth? How will these innovations benefit society as a whole? What will be the consequences of these innovations? What actions should businesses in the US take today to remain competitive in light of such innovations?

Eligibility

The scholarship is open to undergraduate and graduate students 18 years of age or older that are currently attending or accepted to a 2 or 4 year university within the United States.

Deadline

Applications and essays must be submitted by July 31st, 2017.

Complete the application form on this page by the deadline listed above. Be sure to include your contact information and original essay of 500-600 words in the application.

Scholarship Rules & Terms

  • Essays must be original works of 500-600 words written by the applicant.
  • Scholarship award winnings must be used to pay for educational expenses (tuition, books, etc).
  • Contest winners are responsible for reporting and paying any applicable taxes or other fees required by their federal or local jurisdictions.
  • Employees of RenegadeWorks, LLC , its board members, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate in the scholarship contest.
  • Essays become the property of RenegadeWorks, LLC upon submission to the contest. This includes all copyrights, trademarks and other proprietary rights. You acknowledge that RenegadeWorks, LLC may promote, publish and distribute your essay for marketing or other purposes (such as posting to our blog, social media or website).
  • Essays and other application materials will not be returned to contest entrants.
  • Scholarship contest winners will be chosen by the scholarship selection committee. All decisions made by the committee are final. Only winners will be contacted.
  • By submitting your entry to the contest, you grant RenegadeWorks, LLC the right to use your name, biographical information, likeness (i.e. a photograph) and scholarship award information for marketing or other purposes (such as posting to our blog, social media or website).
  • By submitting your entry to the contest, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless RenegadeWorks, LLC, its members, officers, directors, employees and agents against any and all liability, claims and expenses associated with the scholarship contest or award acceptance or use of the scholarship award funds.
